Drivers available in Warrington

The takeover of Safeways by the Morrison Supermarket chain has resulted in several major changes, including redundancy for many staff based at a Warrington Distribution Centre.

About 700 people are now seeking alternative employment, and a large proportion of them have skills and experience of interest to RHA members.

There is a large number of LGV Drivers and staff with FLT training, and experience in warehouse operations. Furthermore, it may be possible for subsidised re-training to be available to suit someone to a new employer's specific needs.
