FuelChamp offer Fuel Efficiency Review and Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving

"SAFED Aggregates" and "Fuel Efficiency Review" are programmes funded by the Aggregate Levy Sustainability Fund (ALSF) through DEFRA and the Department for Transport (DfT) and managed by Simon Management Ltd trading as FuelChamp.

SAFED (Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving) is a driver development programme, which aims to improve the safe and fuel-efficient driving techniques of LGV drivers. Already piloted with some 6000 drivers across the transport and logistics sector, it has demonstrated average fuel savings of 10.01% and an average reduction in gear changes of 36.9%. Fuelchamp also offer you a Fuel Economy Review of your operation by one of their Senior Fuel Efficiency Advisors.

He will visit your site to familiarise himself with your business and opportunities for improving fuel consumption, and prepare a focused action plan. A follow up visit will take place approx. 12 weeks afterwards followed by a report of short-term achievements together with longer-term initiatives for continued improvements and cost savings.
