Mersey Tunnel Tolls

Members are advised that Merseytravel have introduced steep increases to the tolls on larger goods vehicles using the Mersey tunnels.

Tunnel Toll charges from April 1st 2006

• Class 1 and 2 vehicles (motorcycles, cars and 2 axle goods vehicles) - £1.30 (or £1.15 with a Fast Tag)
• Class 3 vehicles (goods vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes GVW, passenger carrying vehicles with a seating capacity for 9 or more, and 3 axles vehicles) - £3.90 (or £3.45 with a Fast Tag)
• Class 4 (vehicles with four or more axles) - £5.20 (or £4.60 with a Fast Tag)
