Road Haulage Association Benevolent Fund

The Road Haulage Association Benevolent Fund (a registered charity) was established to help people in need connected with our industry. This includes members and former members of the RHA, their employees and former employees, and any of their dependants.

The financial assets of the fund are held in trust by 12 Trustees, drawn from the RHA's Executive Board and the Association's Regional Councils.

How Can You Help?

To ensure the Fund's future we need you to help by making contributions in any of the ways suggested below and of course by letting us know of anyone in need in your locality. To those already contributing we send many thanks.

Donations

Gifts of money (preferably by cheque) are always welcome and should be sent to the Fund's Secretary at RHA Head Office or to any of the Regional Offices.

Fund-raising Activities

These can be organised at RHA social and other events, providing revenue for the Fund and often fun and entertainment for those participating. Members who already raise money for local charities may now wish to donate at least part to their own Benevolent fund.

Gift Aid

Individuals and companies can make tax-free donations under the Gift Aid Scheme. Details are available from the Fund's Secretary.
