'The figures speak for themselves" says RHA
The Road Haulage Association has learned with great satisfaction (but no complacency) that in the month of November, some 35 million people were exposed to the RHA name and what it represents through the written media.
The published media viewing figure results for September came out at 10 million while those for October reached 15.5 million.
"This means that in the past three months, over 60 million people have read about the work, involvement and vital role played by the Association in the UK road transport industry," said RHA Chief Executive Roger King.
"Hauliers everywhere want to know if the general public are aware of the challenges facing our industry, certainly in terms of fuel prices. This evidence from the UK's leading independent media monitoring and evaluation company, Durrants, clearly proves that the Association really is playing its part in raising even further, the profile of UK plc's most efficient and cost effective industry.
