Escorting Abnormal Loads Training
The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires employers to provide and maintain systems of work which are, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe. The Act also requires employers to take all reasonably practicable precautions to ensure the safety of their workers and members of the public.

Escorting training is normally carried out on customers’ premises.
There is not a set formula to follow that will create a safe system of work. However delegates on this course will be shown how to work through content such as:
- The requirements for an escort vehicle
- Vehicle Appearance, Markings, Warning Beacons and Equipment required
- Personal specification for self-escorting
- Roles & responsibilities.
- General Operating Practices
- Thresholds for self escorting
- Documentation required
